Loud Noise presents: Life of Agony

February 20, 2017 | by Laetitia Abbenes

The American metal band Life Of Agony will play at the venue Effenaar in the Dutch town of Eindhoven on August 14. Last year the band already played at the brand new hardcore festival The Sound Of Revolution (Klokgebouw, Eindhoven) and gave an impressive performance. The ticket sale has started.

Life Of Agony was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 1989. The debut record of the band, ‘River Runs Red’, was immediately well received in the metal scene and to this day, the album is counted amongst the classics in the scene.

Over the years, the metal band split up twice, the last time being in 2012. Two years later, the band member found themselves on stage again, playing with more energy than ever before. The most recent record ‘Broken Valley’ was released in 2005, but the four piece is releasing a new album this year, called ‘A Place Where There’s No More Pain’!

Every show of this band turns into one big celebration of metal and after all these years, they still know how to hold on to the classic LOA vibe. Expect an excellent performance with new material and classic songs from ‘River Runs Red’! A support will be added to the program at a later moment.
